Though digital books have been around for decades, many school librarians have been reluctant to increase their collections. The purpose of this qualitative study centered on the technology acceptance model (TAM) is to build an understanding of the perceptions of digital books by school librarians in New Hampshire. Analysis of librarians’ interviews provides practical implications including providing comparison points for New Hampshire school librarians and gauging the acceptability of digital books for school library collections.
