This presentation focuses on the design and evaluation of a pilot program to train preservice teachers on microlearning in China. Though microlearning has been perceived as a pedagogical approach that engages learners, it has not been extensively studied in K-12 settings. Being developed following authentic learning principles, this program prepared six preservice teachers to integrate microlearning into their teaching. A mixed-method design following Kirkpatrick’s model was adopted to evaluate program effectiveness and participants’ experiences.
