Instructional design and educational technology teams that can provide clear, quantitative evidence of what they do, and show their reach within the organization, can facilitate change, widening the playing field for future opportunities for instructional innovation. This presentation will use a case study of a team from a health professions institution to discuss how to get to an ideal state of gathering work data, and to explore the development of tools to capture that work.
