Learning by engineering design: the application of science concepts and design behaviors

Short Description

This study mined the log data of 99 high school students solarizing their school building in a computer-aided engineering design learning environment. We found that there is a statistically significant difference in the number of design iterations among three groups, and students tended to manipulate one science concept at a time and immediately move to design behaviors.
