Short Description

In our presentation we will share our research findings on student attitudes about open badges available within the university after having already earned badges as part of a class. Research has presented conflicting evidence about the potential effect of open badges on student motivation, this research focuses on students who have had no previous experience with badges. Our research fills a gap by studying how prior exposure and receipt of open badges affects student motivation.
