Mon, Oct 16, 6:00 to 6:50pm EDT (6:00 to 6:50pm EDT), AECT Virtual Sessions, Zoom Room 5

Short Description

This study investigates the relationship between students' online behaviors and their basic psychological needs satisfaction in online learning environments. Latent profile analysis was used to identify distinct groups of students based on their performance and online behaviors. Multinomial logistic regression was conducted to examine the relationship between students' basic psychological needs satisfaction and the composition of the groups. The results showed that students' perceived competence and autonomy were significant predictors of their group membership.
