Creating an Openly-licensed Book Series: Partnering with K-12 Teachers for the Development of OER

Short Description

This session will share tips and guidelines learned from five years of publishing openly-licensed books for teachers and teacher educators. The K-12 Blended Teaching book series began in 2018 as an initiative to publish an openly licensed guidebook for blended learning and teaching. The series added six other discipline-specific K-12 blended learning books authored by K-12 teachers, coaches, and researchers in 2022, with another four books planned for publication in late-2023 to early-2024.
