Short Description

The purpose of this mixed methods study was to determine how the transformative process of Collaborative Video Production (CVP) influences students’ interest, engagement, and collaboration in course content. The three-year study sample consisted of 285 students representing Grades 6, 7, and 8. Results indicated the presence of Phase 3: emerging individual interest and Phase 4: well-developed individual interest (Renninger & Hidi, 2016). Students also described CVP as having a positive influence on the learning environment.
