This session describes research findings generated from a professional development study abroad program to Munich, Germany for practicing K-12 teachers. Preliminary findings suggest that culturally-focused and technology-enhanced professional development in an international setting can prepare teachers for culturally responsive teaching and bring lasting benefits to K-12 teachers in the U.S. This study has implications for educators and administrators looking to reflect on and transform their thinking around professional development for inservice teachers post COVID.
