Short Description

Adaptive learning promises to create individualized learning paths for students that need more than a one-size-fits-all educational experience. The artificial intelligence based platform, ALEKS, is widely used in the USA, across the science education continuum. However, empirical studies that report on the use of ALEKS are limited. This session will focus on reporting findings from ALEKS studies from the past decade to determine the state of research and where it is headed.
