This study examines the impact of using a content adaptable educational card game with preservice teachers. This study intends to cultivate discussions around the use of game-based learning to promote the development of critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration skills in educational settings. It also intends to utilize a researcher-developed content adaptable card game to promote both content learning as well as critical and novel applications of that learning in educational settings.
