A Successful Day-1 with a VR Classroom Management Application

Short Description

Approximately 50% of new teachers leave the field within their first five years; struggles with classroom management is a key reason. Classroom norms are established very early in the academic year, so starting this process successfully is crucial to successful teaching. This presentation will showcase a virtual reality classroom management application that enables pre-service teachers to practice such crucial skills. Participants will have the opportunity to use the VR application and provide feedback.
