Bassoon reed making is an art that has been handed down from teacher to student for generations. Using the latest instructional design methods, including Decision-based Learning, a new open-access online resource is available to help bassoonists practice the art of reed making. The process of creating this resource is beneficial for other designers who are working with niche learning communities or with processes that have thus far eluded online instruction.
