Short Description

This session discusses findings from a content analysis study focused on examining how a Discord server is currently being used by students at-risk for college attrition (e.g. first-generation to attend college, low-income, and underrepresented racial and ethnic minority). Findings serve as a first step toward designing an online community as a venue for developing a sense of belonging toward intent to persist.
