While many researchers are pursuing more advanced virtual reality (VR) systems to provide learners with more immersive and interactive VR learning experiences, many people have not even experienced some basic VR systems. In this paper, we used a legacy VR system to host a VR online orientation. The results indicate that most participants enjoyed it very much. The results implied that a seemingly outdated VR system may still be helpful for certain learning populations.
