This study investigates the effectiveness of stealth assessments in immersive environments for assessing Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) life science skills in middle school students. Using the game "What's Inside?", the study aims to understand how learning media types affect learning efficacy and satisfaction. The research aligns with situated learning theory (SLT) and Keller's ARCS instructional design model.
