Short Description

Although we will share preliminary results from research on the correlation between eye movements and adult literacy, our primary proposal is to share the story of a research project that has taken many twists and turns. By sharing the details of this research project, we can normalize the messiness and challenges of research – especially field-based research – to facilitate less sanitized representations of research and discuss what happens when the “best-laid plans” go awry.
