Short Description

Incorporating visuals representations has been deemed as an effective instructional strategy for enhancing problem solving skills in engineering education. This session describes the initial work of an NSF grant-funded project involving the redesign of an engineering course using a creative problem solving strategy that focuses on the creation of visual representations. The session will also include a presentation of the study’s preliminary evaluation data over three semesters.
