Usability Testing of an Online Writing Center Platform (WCOnline)

Short Description

Due to the pandemic, writing centers had to fully transition to online tutoring, providing one-on-one consultations for students in a digital environment. This study examined the usability of the Writing center platform (WCONLINE® 7.2.9) for online tutoring sessions during the pandemic. Survey responses (N=42) revealed that many students experienced usability issues at various levels, such as technical difficulties, error messages, and lack of feedback during tutoring sessions.
