Psychology is critical for designers of instruction, and many scholars argue we need to be less technology-centric and more theory-centric. And yet, psychology is usually only lightly taught in our programs, often with a single course on learning theory. In this session, we will discuss the development of a new openly licensed textbook for teaching courses about psychological theories applied to instructional design.
