Short Description

“Amplify Native Voices in the Classroom” is an asynchronous online professional development course created within the BYU ARTS Partnership Native American Curriculum Initiative (NACI). We developed this course to support teachers desiring to teach Native American content in accurate and authentic ways. To do this, we partnered with Native groups and combined the arts, indigenous pedagogies, and culturally responsive principles to assist teachers in developing empathy, knowledge, and skills essential for teaching Native content.
