Short Description

Online course enrollment has increased in recent decades, especially during the pandemic. Since in person interactions are lacking in online context, parents’ engagement became essential for online learning. This study investigates parental support of their K-12 online students in eight online schools in (the State Name). By using a survey, this study examines parental support in terms of students’ affective, behavior and cognitive engagement with their online courses under the Academic Communities of Engagement Framework.
