Short Description

In this study, we developed a mixed reality (MR)-based fire evacuation training simulation for secondary-level students and conducted a formative evaluation. The fire evacuation training simulation consisted of an MR system and physical training items such as training activation cards and a fire extinguisher that activate the interactive digital content on the MR. In a formative evaluation, we analyzed interview data from a focus group including three secondary classroom teachers and two educational technology experts.
