Short Description

This presentation shares the design, development, and evaluation of a mobile journaling application created to promote pre-service teachers’ positive mindset in South Korea. In teacher education, Positive Psychology Intervention(PPI) was suggested to support teachers’ positive experiences in classroom teaching and management. Yet, PPI has been criticized for overemphasizing positive attitudes and the high cost of implementation. We present a mobile journaling application as an alternate approach to support pre-service teachers’ positive mindset for teaching effectiveness.
