Exploring Undergraduate Students’ Conceptions of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Education: A Drawing Analysis

Short Description

Undergraduate students’ conceptions of artificial intelligence were explored using a drawing analysis. Students were asked to draw a picture to answer the following questions, “What do you think Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education is?” and “What do you think Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education looks like to you as a student?” These data were coded, and results were summarized using validated protocols, across multiple categories including, subject domains, people, location, activity, objects, emotions, and technology.
