With the emergence of online teaching and learning in K-12 there is a need to understand the designing aspect of K-6 online education. This research explores in-service teachers’ design considerations and instructional methods used for K-6 online lessons. The findings of the study will inform about K-6 online lessons and design decisions undertaken in their creation and will benefit teacher educators, in-service and pre-service teachers, as well as instructional designers.
