Centralized Exams with Open-Ended Questions in A Large-Scale Distance Education System

Short Description

This paper intends to reveal the results of a study in which distance learners’ satisfaction with the centralized exams that includes open-ended questions as well as close-ended ones in a large open and distance learning system was investigated. The paper also provides an insight about the assessment strategy, its management, and issues of a mega university that has around 1 million enrolled distance students. The preliminary results have shown a low level of satisfaction with the open-ended questions among leaners.
