Short Description

Instructional designers are expected to demonstrate proficiency in competencies related to communication, analysis, design, development, evaluation, and management to support their work throughout the instructional design process. This session presents the findings of a survey exploring the extent that ibstpi instructional design competencies were addressed in instructional design program curricula. Results and trends will be presented with recommendations for preparing students for instructional design roles in the field.
