The proposed study aims to explore how ChatGPT, an AI-powered writing tool, can assist non-native researchers with low writing proficiency in communicating and publishing effectively within their field. It highlights the challenges faced by L2 English speakers in academia and the potential impact of AI in education, specifically in writing. The study will employ a mixed method approach to investigate the potential impact of ChatGPT on L2 researchers' writing skills in academic publishing.
