As online courses continue to grow in higher education institutions (HEI) the retention rates remain low. A gap in research exists as to best practices and recommendations that HEI’s can make to increase online student retention. The recommendations and best practices presented are the result of a modified Delphi study conducted among online educational leaders across the country.
