This presentation will provide recommendations for resolving immoral actions in the Ethics-Centered Design Process Model (Johari, 2020). To stay focused, it will answer two challenging questions: how do we determine whether a person in the design team is responsible for their immoral actions, and are there degrees of responsibility? It will explain most ethics philosophers’ stands on these questions; The presentation will discuss personal morality, depositions, and abilities of design ethicists.
