Creating online learning environments based on Vygotsky’s Zone of Proximal Development using Articulate 360

COVID-19 pushed online learning to greater prominence in 2020 faster than anyone could have ever predicted. This sudden push highlighted the level of unpreparedness of many educators to teach effectively in online environments. In this session, I will demonstrate how to design online courses following Vygotsky’s Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) and other recommendations in the literature. These modules/courses will be created using Articulate 360 and can give instructors the confidence to implement them in their own classes.
