STEM Educators' Perceptions of Gender Bias and the Contributing Factors that Persist for Women in STEM Education

Short Description

Behavioral, individual, and environmental factors can affect a female's individual choice from an early age to pursue STEM education. The continued decrease of females in STEM education challenges educators to take action and find solutions to increase female representation in STEM education. The findings from my doctoral research will be shared covering what high school teachers identify to be key contributing factors to this topic.
