Tue, Oct 17, 2:30 to 3:20pm EDT (2:30 to 3:20pm EDT), Doubletree Main Conference Center - Seminole, Sun & Surf III

Short Description

This research involved an intervention using computer-based math learning modules to measure effects on students' math proficiency and self-efficacy, as well as the students’ perceptions of using the modules for learning. The implementation of the modules was accomplished through building math lessons using Google Slides. The modules were developed using the topics of negative sign math expressions, Realistic Mathematics Education learning theory, hypothetical learning trajectories, self-efficacy instructional strategies, and the cognitive theory of multimedia learning.
