Summary writing with immediate formative feedback is an effective way to help learners engage with lesson content. This experimental investigation continues the development of the web-based tool Graphical interface of Knowledge Structure (GIKS) that provides immediate formative feedback as a network of terms in undergraduate students' essays along with an expert referent network for comparison and reflection. What should these feedback networks look like, especially, should it be large and inclusive or smaller and focused?
