vSchool is a game-based prosocial behavior measurement for 4th to 6th-grade students who interact with non-player characters (NPCs) in an afterschool environment. In order to ensure the game functionality aligns with our assessment goals, we conducted a usability study with 6 participants. The findings indicated that we need to consider students' literacy skills, increase the authenticity of the game context (i.e., graphics of characters and the conversation with NPCs) and provide more instructions to explain the tasks.
