Short Description

This proposal aims to investigate how virtual reality (VR) influences K-12 students' motivation to learn a foreign language using a mixed-methods approach. The study will use affordable high-immersive VR tools to develop a thematic unit with the help of K-12 language teachers. The study aims to answer two questions: 1) How does VR influence K-12 students' motivation to learn a foreign language? 2) How does K-12 students' motivational level change during the VR language intervention?
