AI Curriculum Implementation with Elementary School Teachers: Challenges Encountered and a Path Forward

AAs AI technology advances and becomes more ubiquitous in our daily lives, AI education has been required for all students. By providing teachers with the knowledge and tools they need to teach AI concepts effectively, we can help ensure that students gain competencies in AI. In order to investigate how to teach AI concepts to elementary students, we observed how elementary teachers implement AI units and conducted interviews with them to investigate their instructional approaches and challenges.
