The paper examines the current state of the field, including studies that have investigated the effectiveness of Immersive Virtual Reality (IVR) in mathematics education, and provides a critical analysis of the findings. The study seeks to answer questions related to the potential benefits, limitations, and future research. A scoping review of articles published between 2013 and July 2023 from various databases would be involved. The article would provide recommendations for educators and policymakers.
