This study uses text mining and machine learning techniques to examine teachers’ participation in a Facebook group that supports the implementation of a foundational reading skills curriculum, UFLI Foundations. We aim to learn about teachers’ sentiments, primary topics of posts and comments, and motivations for posting or commenting. The results will provide insight into how social media can support teachers’ professional learning and inform the development of or improvements to literacy program resources.
