Short Description

Learners with autism may benefit from visually cued instruction and skill modeling to support learning and independence. The author developed video-based instruction (VBI) for a learner with autism to complete a vocational task. The socio-technical-pedagogical framework for learner experience design was utilized to describe usability across design dimensions for the VBI example. This presentation is for persons interested in the usability of VBI for promoting inclusive employment for adults with autism.
