Short Description

To celebrate AECT’s centennial, the Teacher Education Division (TED) is hosting a new design competition. All conference attendees are invited to join the competition as participants or spectators. Participants in the competition will use the supplied materials to create a lesson that amplifies or transforms learning for a selected learning objective. For this year’s competition, participants will be expected to integrate the Cricut Maker 3 either by (a) creating educational resources to use as part of their lesson, (b) finding resources on Design Space to use as part of the lesson, or (c) having learners create something with the tool as part of the learning experience. The Executive Board of TED and editors from the Journal of Technology Integrated Lessons and Teaching (JTILT) will select and announce a winner at the conference. In recognition of their accomplishment, the winner will receive a Cricut Maker 3 and have their lessons/resources published in JTILT. Please stop by the competition table for more information and follow TED in Higher Logic to receive competition updates.
