As part of a broader study of internationally educated teachers (IETs), this paper focuses on the employment seeking experiences of 20 IETs who completed their studies in the initial teacher education programs between 2006 to 2010 in provinces of New Brunswick, Ontario, and Quebec in Canada. IETs' job seeking difficulties, strategies, and employment related stress and coping will also be discussed. Research findings suggest that IETs need additional support for their transition from the initial teacher education programs to the workplace in Canada.
