Abstract

The purpose of this research was to identify the cause(s) of absenteeism in a private vocational school in NE Thailand. Students typically enroll in the school and subsequently drop out within 15 days after enrolling. Data was collected using an open-ended questionnaire asking students and staff information on why students have a high rate of dropout. Data revealed that there were more than 10 Ways to reduce problems. Providing flexible class schedules should be offered. 2) Various group activities should be organized. 3) The training for knowledge should be provided for students so that they would improve awareness in their own duty. 4) Providing bus for picking up and sending back home.
5) Offering student loans.
