Abstract

Data-driven decision making is receiving increased attention in education, not only in the USA but also in the Netherlands. This paper describes findings from an intervention that was developed and piloted to support schools in the use of data: the data team intervention. This intervention lasted two years, in which teachers in teams learned how to use data to improve education with support of an external facilitator of an University. This paper investigates the sustainability of this intervention - do teachers continue to use data (in data teams) after the intervention has been completed?
