Abstract

This paper utilizes a logistic regression analysis of ELS 2002-2006 datasets to examine variations in the characteristics and experiences of those students with disabilities who enroll in PSE institutions as compared to those who do not. Findings, which are presented according to Perna’s (2006) conceptual model, indicate that there are major differences between the two groups—with those who enroll in PSE institutions more likely to have access to greater levels of economic capital, social capital, and specialized educational programs.
