Abstract

In 2011 we completed a narrative inquiry into the experiences of children, teachers, and families as their lives met in schools in an achievement testing era. As we finished the study and wrote narrative accounts of the children, teachers, and families we developed an understanding of two worlds of curriculum making, a familial curriculum-making world and a school curriculum-making world. We have written about this re-conceptualization of curriculum making elsewhere. In this paper we inquire into ways we, as three narrative inquirers, have experienced our reliving of our more expansive understanding of curriculum making.
