Abstract

This report presents a summary of evaluation methods and results from the Innovation through Institutional Integration (ICubed) National Science Foundation (NSF) funded project located at the University of Central Florida (UCF). Expected project outcomes include: Increased interaction and synergy among NSF funded STEM K-12 and undergraduate educational and research programs; a more informed UCF community with greater ability to participate in a knowledge-based economy; integration of STEM research into education; and increased participation of undergraduates in STEM research. It contains brief summaries from findings from analyses of surveys, focus groups, databases, and other sources. Project activities include a State of STEM conference, integrating research findings into service learning courses, and a Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) gallery.
