Abstract

The purpose of the presentation is threefold: (a) to provide critical features, strategies, and examples of a research-based professional development training model for IEP case managers to develop compliant and aligned IEP documents that prepare students for employment, further education and independent living; (b) to provide results of the potential efficacy of the professional development training model; and (c) to provide implications for practice and future research to improve the development, implementation, and monitoring of IEPs for transition aged students.
