Narrating School Experience and Knowing Teaching: Confronting Issues of Social Justice in Teacher Education Programs

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to report the most recent results from an ongoing multi-year research initiative centered on narrative and teaching at a large Research I University in the Southwestern United States. The central goal of this body of work is to understand both the perils and the promise of situating narrative methods in teacher education research and pedagogy.
